Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the pricing of individual life business through advanced modeling and data analytics.
  • Set and periodically update pricing bases to reflect emerging experience and market trends.
  • Contribute to the design of new insurance products and strategic reinsurance structures.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing pricing team, ensuring a desirable and productive work environment.
  • Oversee the drafting of complex proposal and treaty documentation for global clients.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve data issues and ensure the completeness of pricing inputs.
  • Conduct regular experience analysis and monitor the performance of existing business blocks.
  • Identify, assess, and manage insurance risks, providing timely reports to senior management.
  • Drive internal reporting requirements and ensure strict adherence to global actuarial standards.
  • Take ownership of technical challenges, seeing them through to successful, auditable conclusions.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Qualified Actuary from a globally recognized professional association.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in actuarial or analytical functions, with a focus on pricing.
  • Strong technical proficiency in MS Excel, Macros, and Actuarial software (Axis preferred).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders.
