Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end annual business planning and budgeting cycle for all departments.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for long-term forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide detailed variance analysis to the management.
  • Oversee the expense management framework and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Prepare high-quality MIS reports, board presentations, and executive summaries.
  • Analyze key business drivers such as VNB, persistency, and sourcing mix to assess profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Actuarial and Strategy teams to align financial plans with business goals.
  • Manage the implementation and enhancement of automated planning and budgeting tools.
  • Support the CFO in ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic business projects.
  • Ensure that all financial reporting complies with internal governance and IRDAI standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA Finance from a top-tier institute.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in FP&A or Financial Planning, preferably in the life insurance sector.
  • Strong technical proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), VBA, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent understanding of insurance accounting principles and financial metrics.
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders.
