Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed macroeconomic research focusing on interest rates, inflation, and GDP growth.
- Perform thematic research on emerging industries and technological disruptions.
- Support the strategic asset allocation (SAA) process through quantitative modeling and risk analysis.
- Monitor global and domestic market developments to identify tactical investment opportunities.
- Analyze the impact of regulatory changes (IRDAI/RBI) on the investment portfolio.
- Collaborate with fund managers to provide research inputs for portfolio construction.
- Develop and maintain internal research databases and financial market dashboards.
- Prepare monthly market outlook reports and research notes for the Investment Committee.
- Represent the organization at research conferences and engage with sell-side economists.
- Ensure all research activities align with the company’s long-term investment philosophy and risk limits.
Requirements and Qualifications
- MBA Finance, CA, or Post Graduate in Economics/Statistics.
- CFA Charterholder or candidate is highly preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in investment research or strategy roles.
- Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in using financial terminals (Bloomberg/Reuters).
- Excellent writing and communication skills for preparing high-quality research publications.
