Stores & Inventory Manager

A Leading Pharmaceutical Company is seeking a highly organized Stores & Inventory Manager to lead its warehouse operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end storage and inventory control of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. Furthermore, you will ensure that all warehouse activities strictly comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations. Consequently, this position is vital for supporting seamless production schedules and preventing supply chain disruptions.

The Stores & Inventory Manager must maintain 100% accuracy in stock records through regular physical audits and ERP management. Additionally, you will coordinate with the Procurement and Logistics teams to optimize lead times and storage capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials.
• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy in the ERP system and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP, GDP, and occupational health and safety (OHS) standards.
• Manage storage conditions, specifically for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical ingredients.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and implement efficient stock rotation (FEFO/FIFO) practices.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team for sampling and release of raw materials.
• Manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity and adherence to SOPs.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for timely dispatch and delivery of finished goods.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives in warehouse handling and storage processes.
• Maintain comprehensive records of material movements for regulatory and audit purposes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Graduate / MBA in Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in store/warehouse management within the Pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical storage regulations and GMP standards.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) for inventory tracking.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
