Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice to the management and various internal departments on corporate and regulatory issues.
• Lead the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of complex commercial contracts and legal agreements.
• Manage and oversee the company’s litigation portfolio across various courts and tribunals.
• Ensure strict compliance with IRDAI regulations and other applicable corporate laws.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and coordinate with external legal counsels.
• Conduct legal research to stay ahead of changes in the regulatory and legislative landscape.
• Develop and implement internal legal policies and governance frameworks to mitigate risks.
• Oversee the resolution of customer disputes and legal claims in a sensitive and professional manner.
• Provide legal support for new product launches and strategic business initiatives.
• Mentor and lead the internal legal team to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized university.
• 10+ years of professional experience in legal roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Deep expertise in insurance laws, corporate law, and litigation management.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
