Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the statutory reporting team in executing monthly and annual valuations and reporting cycles.
  • Conduct in-depth experience analysis on mortality, lapses, and other critical risk factors.
  • Perform periodical ALM position analysis and communicate results to internal management and regulators.
  • Analyze valuation data rigorously to ensure absolute accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
  • Develop parallel actuarial models and conduct UAT testing to validate Prophet model outputs.
  • Provide constructive recommendations to stakeholders based on detailed actuarial experience studies.
  • Support broader actuarial functions on a need basis, including pricing and shareholder reporting.
  • Prepare specialized, need-based MIS reports to drive informed executive decision-making.
  • Ensure all assigned work items and tasks are delivered accurately within strict regulatory timelines.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the actuarial department.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience, preferably within a statutory reporting team in the life insurance sector.
  • Significant progress in actuarial papers, including a strong technical knowledge of CT5.
  • Proficiency in using Prophet (Actuarial software), MS Excel, and SQL for data analysis.
  • Deep understanding of core actuarial principles and statutory reporting frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage complex data sets and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to share technical results with stakeholders and management.
