Key Responsibilities for the AM – Customer Service (MIS)
- Lead the preparation, deep analysis, and filing of financial and business reports to IRDAI and Life Council.
- Manage high-priority regulatory submissions including BAP filing and periodic Public Disclosures.
- Coordinate effectively with Compliance and cross-functional teams to align on reporting standards.
- Report financial data through various annexures for internal stakeholders at predefined frequencies.
- Interpret complex requirements from regulatory guidelines and ad-hoc requests to develop new reports.
- Ensure 100% accuracy and maintain strict internal controls across all financial reporting outputs.
- Drive the automation of manual reports by understanding system flows and raising detailed BRDs.
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the accuracy and integrity of automated data outputs.
- Collaborate with various organizational stakeholders to maintain data transparency and consistency.
- Stay updated on circulars from statutory agencies to ensure ongoing reporting compliance.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate degree with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional work experience.
- Previous experience specifically in regulatory reporting is a mandatory requirement for this role.
- Advanced technical knowledge of MS Access, SQL, and VBA for data management and automation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with cross-functional departments.
- Proven ability to manage high-frequency reporting cycles with a focus on precision and accuracy.
